PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate discharge of drain by providing an air supply duct and an air discharge duct interconnecting the indoor side and the outdoor side in a body casing while intersecting each other, disposing a heat exchanger at the intersect thereof and providing a drain outlet projecting down ward on the bottom face of the body casing. SOLUTION: Wet air is sucked by an exhaust fan 3 and passed through an exhaust duct 5 thence through a heat exchanger 1 vertically downward. Air supply side has similar structure where outdoor air is sucked by an air supply fan 4 and passed through an air supply duct 6 thence through the heat exchanger 1 vertically downward. The exhaust air and supply air passing, respectively, through the ducts 5, 6 intersect in the heat exchanger 1 and exchange heat each other. When the air supply side is low temperature and the exhaust side is high temperature high humidity, a large quantity of drain is produced from the air outlet of the heat exchanger 1. Drain water drips onto the bottom face in the body casing 2, passed through a head drain discharge part 10 projecting downward from the bottom face in the body casing 2 and received on a drain pan 11 before being discharged through a pipe joint 15.
