<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and readily rod an rodding object into a spiral hanger. SOLUTION: A rodding tool 1 has a disc 20 fixed to a manipulation rod, which is held and turned by an operator on the ground. The outer circumferential length of the disc 20 is an integral numbers of times of prescribed pitch of a spiral hanger, and a plurality of slots are formed radially in the outer circumference of the disc 20, with intervals equal to the predetermined pitch. The disc 20 is turned, and the spiral hanger is put into the slot to move the spiral hanger forward. A main unit 50, into which a part of the disc 20 is inserted and to which a pulling rope 73 is connected, is provided in the spiral hanger. The main unit 50 is moved forward along an existing cable, while the spiral hanger is made to move forward by turning the disc 20 to let the pulling rope 73 connected to the main unit 50 through the spiral hanger.</p> |
