<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion device for electric cable connecting sleeve for overhead distribution line, capable of inserting the cutting end of an overhead distribution line into an electric cable connecting sleeve promptly, moreover completely, easily, and efficiently without the need for high skill. SOLUTION: This insertion device consists of a stationary clamping piece 5 and a movable clamping piece 9, having a prescribed length which can fit and grasp an electric cable connecting sleeve. On the top of one end of the stationary clamping piece 5, a roughly frame-shaped retaining part 7 is formed so as to temporarily retain one cut end part 30a of an overhead electric cable 29, and at the inner surface of one end of the movable clamping piece 9, a guide part 11 which is of outwardly-inclined surface shape is formed so as to correspond to the retaining part 7. A guide path 15 for a cutting end of the overhead distribution line 29 is formed between the guide part 11 and the retaining part 7.</p> |
