<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an overhead cable installation assisting tool, with which a hanging metal sheave can be hung from a cross arm simply and easily, without the possibility of fall-off or discrepancy, and furthermore after a work is finished, can be removed from the cross arm simply and easily and hence the danger of a high place work can be reduced. SOLUTION: A cross arm hanging metal sheave attachment tool 1 comprises an upper central horizontal plate 1a, which is attached to the top surface of a cross arm (b) protruding from the top of a pole approximately horizontally, side part vertical plates 1b which are formed by bending both the left and right sides of the upper central horizontal plate 1a downward with approximate right angles and lower horizontal tabs 1c, which are formed by bending the lower ends of both the left and right side part vertical plates 1b outward with approximately right angles. A tightening screw part 2, which has a screw rod 2a that is moved vertically by a screw motion is provided on the upper central horizontal plate 1a. Retaining holes 1d, through which left and right hooks 11a of a metal hanging sheave 11 through which an overhead cable (a) is laid in the middle of installation to be hung temporarily, are inserted from below to retain are formed in both the left and right lower horizontal tabs 1c.</p> |
