<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a chip antenna at a distance from a front case and to sup press the deterioration of an antenna radiation characteristic by providing the chip antenna on a flexible printed wiring board and further fixing the flex ible printed wiring board to a shield case. SOLUTION: A chip antenna 5 is mounted on an FPC 11. The FPC 11 where the chip antenna 5 is mounted is fixed onto a shield case 2. Due to this configuration, the chip antenna 5 can be kept at a distance from a front case 3, and when it is applied to an ear when communication is performed by this portable radio equipment, the deterioration of an antenna radiation characteristic can be suppressed. Because the space for mounting the chip antenna 5 does not have to be taken on a circuit board 1 made of resin, the layout of the circuit board 1 is made easy and the miniaturization of the board 1 can be realized. Further, the characteristic is prevented from deteriorating due to the influence of a peripherally arranged part as in the case the antenna 5 is mounted on the circuit board 1 made of resin.</p> |
