METHOD FOR GENERATING CONTOUR OF IMAGE, METHOD FOR EXTRACTING CONTOUR AND RECODING MEDIUM RECORDED WITH THESE METHODS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce quantity of information by extracting an image area to be a contour and to ensure and facilitate processing for generating and extracting the contour from the image area. SOLUTION: An extracted area is represented by only information of a contour and information of internal signals by selecting the extracted area to be an area surrounded by the contour. In order to generate the contour from the extracted area, each pixel in the extracted area is magnified to generate the magnified area and pixels not included in the extracted area in the magnified area are selected for pixels of the contour. In order to extract the connection of the pixels of the contour as the contour, raster scanning is applied the inside of the image, vicinity retrieval is applied by using the retrieved pixels of the contour as a start picture, the pixels of the contour are being retrieved and the pixels are sequenced.
