PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and process cartridge which prevents streaks in images and shows good cleaning property at a low temp. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with at least a photoreceptor and a contact electrifying member which is in contact with the photoreceptor. The photosensitive layer of the photoreceptor contains at least one kind of polycarbonate resin (I) having <1.5×104 viscosity average mol.wt. and at least one kind of polycarbonate resin (II) having >=1.5×104 viscosity average mol.wt. In a compsn. composed of the polycarbonate resins (I) and (II), 30 to 95 pts.wt. polycarbonate resin (I) is included. The amt. of discharge C in primary electrification by a primary electrifying device and the process speed Vp of the image forming device satisfied the relation C/Vp<1.7. |
