<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power-receiving side coupler and a core which is easy to form and capable of reducing cost. SOLUTION: A power-receiving coupler 2 includes a secondary coil 15 and a power-receiving side core 13. The power receiving-side core is made up of a core member 17 having an E-shaped cross section and a groove 17a for storing the secondary coil 15, and a plate-shaped core member 18 for blocking the groove 17a of the core member 17 having an E-shaped cross section. A power sending-side coupler 1, including a primary coil 9 and a power sending-side core 7, is joined with the power receiving-side coupler 2 in an electrically noncontacted state. When power is fed to the primary coil 9 of the power supply side coupler 1, a magnetic circuit is formed at the power supply side core 7 and the power receiving side core 13. Then, induced electromotive force is generated at the secondary coil 15, and a battery is charged by the electromotive force generated at the secondary coil 15.</p> |
