PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a streamline plotting method by which a streamline with excellent precision is plotted in an analysis area with a comparatively short time. SOLUTION: In the analysis area (a silicon oxide area 2) of an electric field vector E where a condition that a divergence and rotation are zero is satisfied, a vector E to be vertical in relation is set in the electric field vector E, the vector E is expressed by usage in a stream functionΨand the Laplace equation of the stream functionΨis derived. Then the Laplace equation of the stream functionΨis dissolved under a proper boundary condition, the value of the stream functionΨat every grid point in the analysis area is obtained through the use of a finite difference method and an finite element method or the like and, then, the isopleth of the value of the stream functionΨis plotted. The isopleth becomes electric lines of force being the stream line of the electric field vector E. |
