PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fall of a developer carrier and to ensure a fixed gap between a magnetic seal and the developer carrier by engaging a part of a support member, provided in the almost horizontal direction from the center of the developer carrier, with a developing frame. SOLUTION: When a developing-roller gear 9k receives drive (shown by the arrow z) from a photoreceptor-drum gear, a developing roller 9c falls in the direction of the allow y. In order to prevent the fall of the developing roller 9c and ensure a gap between the developing roller 9c and a magnetic sealing member 201, a developing-roller bearing 9j is provided with a protruding 9j3 toward the circular-arc face 12j of a developing frame 12 extending along the developing roller 9c. During the drive, the rib 9j3 comes into contact with a rib 12j1 provided on the circular-arc face 12j of the developing frame body 12 extending along the developing roller 9c, and receives the developing-roller bearing 9j with the rib 12j1, thereby decreasing the fall of the developing roller 9c. |
