<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photointerruptor in which the number of components is reduced, whose production process is simplified and which has a superior effect on the reduction of costs of this kind of photointerruptor. SOLUTION: This photointerruptor 1 is constituted in such a way that element housing parts are formed on the same side face in which U-shapes appear at a case 2 in respective arms 21; that a light emitting element 3 and a light receiving element 3 are attached to positions corresponding to the element housing parts on one face of a printed-circuit board, whose shape is nearly identical to that to the side face of the case 2; and that the printed-circuit board is pasted and bonded to the side face of the case 2. As a result, the number of components of the photointerruptor is reduced, the production process of the photointerruptor is simplified, and the accuracy of the photointerruptor is enhanced.</p> |
