<p>To produce a double switch at less cost, a common contact is provided for the connections of all the cable strands to be connected. Said contact has inside an globally rectangular shape a narrow slot and a wide slot. Said two slots are designed to pass over the cable strands whereto the switch is to be connected. The wide slot maintains a cable strand by pressing on the insulating sleeve of said strand, while the narrow slot shears said sleeve and, by virtue of being narrower than said cable strand conductive core, is urged to be connected therewith. By rotating the contact by a half-turn along their position in the switch it is disclosed that only one type of contact is required for producing said switch entirely.</p> |
