A reaction casting machine for refrigerated vehicle linings has a simple inflated-hose force distribution system. The working surface of the base (1) with steel profiles, is 2 m x 5m. The swinging arm (3) has a counterweight (4) and pedestal mounting (2) with a pivot (7). The upper section includes a fastening plate (11) for foam molds (18) and an upper pressure plate (6), connected to it by fastenings (8). The upper section can be moved at right angles to the arm by 80 mm. The arm swings to close with the working surface in the horizontal plane, or is swung upwards at an angle. Tempering equipment, insulated underneath, is included in the base. Locking devices (12-19) connect arm and base. Reaction pressure of foam in the mold is compensated by compressed air in fabric-reinforced hoses (10) 150 mm in diameter. 5-7 parallel tubes are employed over the full width. The resting surface of the lower section for the ABS panels (21) is upwardly curved over dimension A, with a radius of preferably 50 m. Preferred features: The stroke of the upper section is effected by two tubes (9) subjected to compressed air. Both ends of all tubes are preferably 0.5-0.7 m longer than the width of the equipment. The molds are tempered.
