INTERIOR MATERIAL OR INDOOR FIXTURE FITTED WITH TITANIUM OXIDE PARTICLES AND METHOD FOR USE THEREOF

An interior material or an indoor fixture having, on the surface thereof, titanium oxide particles containing brookite type crystals, and a method for use thereof. The titanium oxide particles containing brookite type crystals may be fixed to the surface by using an adhesive. The titanium oxide particles containing brookite type crystals exhibit the function as a photocatalyst even by irradiation of an ultraviolet ray having a radiation energy at a wavelength of 365 nm as weak as 0.001 to 0.2 mW/cm<2> which is provided by normal interior lightning.
