The burner has a burner head possessing outlets in the central part, for an ignitable mixture of fuel and air. The annular edge part has at least one through passage for the bypass flow which is guided through Venturi ducts(34) in the passage(s) (30). The inner fuel pipe (14) and the passage(s) for the bypass flow lead, on the input side from a feeder pipe (12) for the whole flow. The outer pipe (28) and feeder pipe are in one piece. One wall of the Venturi ducts (34) is formed directly by the bypass pipe near an annular ridge (38).
