<p>A power amplification circuit that acts to maintain the output power of the power amplifier and prevent excessive current draw from the power source by detecting and controlling the current drawn from the power source and supplied to the power amplifier is described. The circuit addresses the design problem of maintaining an output power at a certain power level or within some fixed power range by monitoring and controlling the current supply to the power amplifier. Since the output power of the power amplifier is directly proportional to this input power, the output level of the power amplifier can be controlled by reference to this input current supply.</p> |
