PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength of a lockup device, and reduce weight so as to improve fuel consumption. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a piston member 44 capable of being connected and disconnected to and from a front cover, a drive member 52 to which torque is input from a piston member 44, having a pair of disc-like members 56, 57 fixed axially in line, while a spring housing part being formed therebetween, a driven member 53 axially arranged between the paired disc-like members 56, 57 and formed with a window hole 58, and a torsion spring 54 provided for elastically connecting the paired disc-like members 56, 57 to the driven member 53 in a rotational direction. Drawing process is applied to the paired disc-like members 56, 57 with different depths. The disc-like member deeply drawn is thinner than the other disc-like member.
