PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To depress the deterioration of various constituent members of a heat-collecting apparatus for solar heat even in the case that a circulating pump is continuously operated in spite of the fact that hot water in a hot water storage tank is not utilized under the conditions of a high efficiency of heat colletion. SOLUTION: A thermowax type directional control valve 22 is provided in the intermediate portion of a return pipe 14, and this valve 22 is connected to a reserve tank 16 by means of a bypass pipe 23. Part of the bypass pipe 23 is housed in a water-cooled container 24 which is provided with a water feed port for taking water thereinto and a temperature control valve that opens and discharges water when water therein attains a predetermined temperature or higher.
