A heat sensitive recording material, comprising a) at least one colour forming compound selected from the group consisting of 3- diethylamino- 6-methyl- 7-(3- methylanilino) fluoran, 3- dibutylamino- 6-methyl- 7-anilinofluoran, 3- dipentylamino-6- methyl-7- anilinofluoran, 3-(N- methyl-N- propylamino)-6- methyl-7- anilinofluoran, 3- (N-ethyl-p- toluidino)- 6-methyl-7- anilinofluoran and 3-(N- ethyl-N- isoamylamino)-6-methyl- 7-anilinofluoran; or a monophase solid solution comprising at least two colour forming compounds; b) at least one sensitiser of formula (1), wherein R and R' are identical or different from each other and each represent C1-C6alkyl; and c) at least one developer.
