<p>The invention concerns parallel memories which enable access into a table of aligned equidistant components, said components being considered as constituting a vector of N components. The memory (1) is organised in M memory banks (8). Each memory bank (8) comprises an addressing computer. The memory (1) comprises a unidirectional network (6). The unidirectional network (6) performs a permutation of the components of the accessing vector and a translation of the specific value t of the vector components. The invention is particularly applicable to Single Instruction Multiple Data machines.</p> |
