When data information on a DVD disk (1) is reproduced on a DVD player, disk management information is used to decide whether the data information is protected by a copyright. The wobble of the DVD disk (1) indicates whether it is a rewritable DVD. If the data information is protected by a copyright and the DVD disk (1) is rewritable, then the DVD disk (1) is prohibited from playback to avoid illegal use or copyright piracy effectively.
