An adjustable spine support, in particular for a car seat comprises at least one bending element, e.g. coil springs (20) together with a number of supporting elements, e.g. laths (30) which are essentially orthogonally arranged to the at least one bending element and connected with it. A Bowden cable (40) is arranged so that its operation leads to a bending of the at least one bending element. Two pairs of Bowden cables for adjusting the spine support are operated by a control unit comprising two coaxial axles. On the axles is a receiver for the inner steel cables and a receptacle for the corresponding covers of the Bowden cables. |
