Since the portion of a rotary shaft (11) projecting through one side of the compressor section (10) is provided with an electromagnetic clutch section (40) and the portion of the rotary shaft (11) projecting through the other side of the compressor section (10) is provided with an electric motor section (70), the electromagnetic clutch section (40) may use a conventional one directly. Since the portion of the rotary shaft (11) projecting through the other side of the compressor section (10) is provided with the electric motor section (70), it is installed on the same rotary shaft (11). Since the compressor section (10) and the electric motor section (70) can be disposed adjacent each other, twist torque produced in the rotary shaft (11) can be reduced.
