The fixing of the handlebar's two metal profiled sections, in the form of concentrically extending tubes(1,2), is achieved through a form-locking method entailing deformation of at least one of the sections after assembly. The outer section does not completely enclose the inner, and the outer section at least partially encloses the inner section where during operation of the handlebar the forces and/or moments met require a larger resistance of the cross section of the handlebar.
