FIELD: mobile communications, in particular, for telephone that has transmitter and antenna. SUBSTANCE: method involves detection of amount of power transmitted by antenna for given time interval for measuring accumulated power level, comparison of said accumulated power level to threshold level, generation of signal corresponding to comparison result, and clipping power of transmitter, when signal corresponding to comparison result indicates excess of threshold level by accumulated power. Corresponding device has unit for measuring power which is transmitted by antenna for given time interval, unit for comparison of accumulated power level to threshold level, and responding unit for reception of signal with result of comparison and clipping transmitting power, when signal corresponding to comparison result indicates excess of threshold level by accumulated power. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities for monitoring of transmission and regulation of exposure of user to radiation upon operation with telephone set. 24 cl, 3 dwg
