METHOD FOR COMPUTATION OF GEOMETRICAL PARAMETERS OF CURVILINEAR BODIES AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: body for computation of its geometrical parameters is so dissected by plane through equal angles that obtained sections cross on one axis passing through center of gravity of body. Projections of obtained sections are generated. Transparency made in the form of grid of diverging beams originating through equal angles from one center is superimposed on each projection. Center of transparency is matched with center of gravity of this section. Length of obtained beams from center of transparency to their crossing of curve limiting projection of section is measured and area of projection of section is computed. Transparency is fabricated from transparent plate which carries grid of measuring lines in the form of beams limited by circumference of scale calibrated in degrees originating from center of circumference through equal angles and divided into own metrical scales and coordinate circumferences formed with equal spacing on metrical scales of beams.
