FIELD: military equipment, applicable in large-caliber artillery mounts. SUBSTANCE: armor cap has a window for case extraction, closed with a cover plate. The cover plate is hinge-joined to the armor cap and has a drive providing for its opening and closing. The drive is made as a leverage. The leverage has a double-arm lever-hinge hinge-joined inside the armor cap. One arm of the lever is pinned to the cover plate, and the other is hinge-joined to a rod adjustable in length. The other end of the rod is hinge-joined to the lever, whose longitudinal axis coincides with the rod axis and with the bracket attached to the armor cap. The other end of the lever carries a cam on an axle perpendicular to the hinge joining the rod and the lever. The cam has a platform engageable with the stop on the gun breech. The cam has a neck in which a spring-loaded stop is hinge-joined and telescopic-joined to the upper stop that is hinge-joined to the armor cap.
