FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: device can be used in development of placer deposits of minerals of high density in underwater work faces. Suction device of suction-tube dredger has head-piece with circular screen which contains disk located at mouth level. Radial slots are also provided. Circular screen is made with shoulder which is located below external part of disk. Radial slots are created by sectors with stiffening ribs which are connected with disk and shoulder. Aforesaid embodiment of suction device is aimed at enhancing efficiency of extracting heavy mineral components from underwater placer deposits. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
