FIELD: antenna engineering for mobile objects such as ships. SUBSTANCE: antenna has main vertical conductor primarily excited by generator, second vertical conductor grounded at base through body or hull, and horizontal conductor connected to vertical ones through electric contacts. Horizontal conductor incorporates insulating link and main vertical conductor as well as adjacent section of horizontal conductor are covered with insulating sheath. Point of connection of insulating link is chosen so that total electric length of main vertical conductor and adjacent section of horizontal conductor were equal to quarter-wavelength. EFFECT: improved efficiency of antenna and its matching with generator by its tuning; improved safety for personnel. 3 dwg |
