The invention relates to a method for adsorbing toxic substances, especially mycotoxins, during the production of foodstuffs for human consumption or animal feed, preferably of types which are predominantly vegetable-based. The toxic substances are absorbed by using certain synthetic and/or natural zeolites or zeolite minerals as toxin absorbing agents. The invention also relates to the foodstuffs for human consumption, animal feed and mixtures obtained using the method. |
