PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to effectively prohibit the intrusion and propagation of saprophytic bacteria into the air in a bed housing room and to maintain the interior environment clean at all times for long time. SOLUTION: This clean bed consists of a room structure which constitutes the hermetically closable bed housing room, a bed which is housed in this bed housing room and an air cleaner which is installed to the bed housing room. In such a case, the air cleaner has a first mist generating chamber for humidifying the air inhaled by a suction fan from an inhalation port, passing the air through a filter for sterilization disposed between this chamber and a second mist generating chamber and delivering the air and the second mist generating chamber for imparting a antimicrobial property to the humidified air sent from the first mist generating chamber and discharging the air by a discharge fan to the bed housing room.
