PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost and to improve the touch of a flap and an air permeability by providing an outer most layer sheet having the air permeability and water repellency, which is an air permeable sheet where an absorptive body is fixed at a part of it and which holds the absorptive body by means of enclosing the waist of a wearing person in case of wearing and putting the body on him or her. SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 is a pants-type one and is constituted of the outermost layer sheet 2 and the absorptive body 3 fixed to the center of it. In the outermost layer sheet 2, recessed notch parts 4 are molded in both side parts to form leg hole parts. A pair of waist flaps 8 and 9 extending to the outer part of the absorptive body 3 are arranged in the end edge parts of the sheet 2, and a waist hole part is formed. Besides, the absorptive body 3 is constituted of a liquid permeable top sheet 15 forming a side to be brought into contact with the skin of the wearing person, a liquid impermeable back sheet 16 and an absorptive body 17 held between them. The outermost layer sheet 2 is formed by a liquid impermeable woven or nonwoven cloth where the air permeability is provided and a water repellent processing is executed.
