PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to carry out both side polishing of the teeth at a time and to easily remove the dental plaque and bits of the food stuck to the teeth while the sufficient removal of the dental plaque and bits of the food stuck to the surfaces of the teeth is heretofore difficult and only the partial polishing on one surface side of the teeth is heretofore possible. SOLUTION: The front ends of the brushes 24 in the brush parts 23 of the tooth brush 11 formed pivotally movably with a pair of working rods 12 are pressed from a perpendicular direction to the surfaces of the teeth simultaneously from the front surface side and rear surface side of the teeth. As a result, the dental plaque and bits of the food stuck to the surface of the teeth may be removed by the impact force of the brushes coming into contact with the tooth surfaces and the repulsive force generated when the brushes after the contact deflect. In addition the simultaneous polishing of both sides of the teeth is made possible.
