PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn a ratchet handle which can be turned only in the longitudinal direction to a bolt with a joint still bent at right angles, and change over the angle to be turned from both longitudinal and horizontal directions. SOLUTION: This joint is formed by an upper body 5 and a lower body 6, and an upper bevel gear 1 and a lower bevel gear 2 are respectively housed in the respective bodies. A connecting part 7 between the upper and lower bodies is taken as a fulcrum to be bent at right angles. In turning in the longitudinal direction, a projecting part 3 and a recessed part 4 are engaged, and in turning in the horizontal direction, the bevel gear 1 and the bevel gear 2 are engaged to transmit the rotation from the ratchet handle to a socket.
