PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the hooking of an engaging part with an article to be held at a time when a writing utensil is pulled out of the article to be held in a knock type writing utensil having a clip shafety mechanism. SOLUTION: An engaging part 6 is an axially extended plate-like member wherein the front and rear surfaces 61, 62 thereof are inclined and a shoulder part 63 is provided on the outside surface thereof. A ball part 4 is equipped with a recessed groove 44 having a front surface 41 and a rear surface 42 formed into a curved surface shape and having the engaging part 6 piercing through the central part thereof in an axial direction enabling insertion. The step part 43 with which the shoulder part 63 of the engaging part 6 can be engaged is provided on the inside surface of the recessed groove 44. |
