PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fabrication work of a cleaning filter the productivity of the filter, and suppress by surely adsorbing malodor emitted, users' discomfort when the air clearer is not running. SOLUTION: This air cleaner 1 comprises a casing 2 whose inside is divided by a partitioning plate 4 into the front and rear storage parts, and a purification filter 11 installed in the front side storage part 5, a fan 16 installed in the rear side storage part 6 and is employed for air purification by sucking interior air, filtering the air by the air purification filter 11, and blowing out the cleaned air to the interior. In such an air cleaner 1, a layer of the dust collecting deodorization filter formed by mixing activated carbon with a filter medium for collecting dust is employed as the air cleaning filter 11 and the dust collecting deodorization filter is installed in the front side storage part 5 in a detachable manner. |
