PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a printing original plate of high sensitivity to active light and the sharpness in the surface physical variation caused by the heat energy absorption by forming a layer containing a substance absorbing the radiation and converting the radiation energy to heat energy between a thin layer and a base. SOLUTION: A substance having the nature of absorbing active light and changing the surface of a thin layer into the hydrophilic properties is used on a thin layer on a printing original plate. The substance particularly effective to the thin layer is a photocatalyst type metal oxide. A substance to be formed on the base and absorbing effectively the emission light and converting the same into heat is used for the light-heat conversion layer. The particularly preferably light-heat conversion substance is a metal powder or a metal compound powder, and a self-heating reaction system is constituted by the combination of the substance with oxygen in air. More concretely, a metal or a compound such as a metal oxide, a metal nitride, a metal sulfide, a metal carbide or others is used. |
