<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic filter utilizing the incineration ash of wastes, having a high added value, and having a uniform pore diameter. SOLUTION: This ceramic filter is obtained by kneading the incinerated ash of wastes with water and a hydrophilic urethane monomer, casting the kneaded product in a mold to foam, defatting and calcining the foamed product to remove the urethane foam, and further calcining the product. The obtained ceramic filter has opened cells each having a diameter of 0.5-100μm. The incinerated ash is preferably a fluidized bed incinerated ash having a uniform particle size. When used for concentrating and dehydrating sludge, the ceramic filter can be recycled in a disposal station, or may be charged into an incinerator as such after used.</p> |
