PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil-based ink composition for ball-point pens with little initial writing blur and smooth in writing feeling. SOLUTION: This oil-based ink composition for ball-point pens contains at least 10-45 wt.% of a colorant such as a dye, a pigment or the like, 35-80 wt.% of a solvent such as a glycol-based solvent, a glycol ether-based solvent, an alcohol-based solvent or the like, 5-50 wt.% of a resin and 0.5-5 wt.%; of 2, 2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol bis(2-ethylhexanoic acid)ester. |
