PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function recovering method for pavement and a device therefor capable of effectively removing earth and sand, dust or the like stopping up voids in the permeable pavement or the drainable pavement and surely recovering reduced permeable function or drainable function. SOLUTION: Heated water is pressurized to supply it to an injection nozzle 6, and it is injected to the inside of a specific void formed between the surface of the permeable pavement or the drainable pavement and a cover 5 placed upward of the surface with specific pressure. By the constitution, the heated water is sprayed to the surface of the pavement while generating vapor, and after substances stopping up voids in the pavement are separated, sanitary wastewater mixed with the substances is absorbed to collect.
