PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure wider passage on upper deck between a hatch coaming and outer plating of ship's side by providing a container supporting member that protrudes to the side to be positioned on a passage, on the upper end of the hatch coaming. SOLUTION: A support beam 20 is protruded to the ship's side from a hatch coaming 13, and mainly supported by the hatch coaming 13 in cantilevered state, and is also supported by an auxiliary support column 22. Container sockets 23, 31 are disposed at the predetermined positions on upper surface of the corner portion of the side of the support beam 20 on the ship side and an upper surface of a hatch cover 30. A container 40 is to be loaded on the upper side of a deck passage 15 by joining the container sockets 23, 31. With this stricture, section of the auxiliary support column 22 is made smaller, and as a result, wider passage can be secured.
