PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the generation of a skew during conveying a booklet and enhance the page turning reliability. SOLUTION: A pressure contact member 8 is structurally pressed into contact with a booklet conveying member 6 only by the urging force of a spring 20 when a booklet 2 is conveyed. Consequently, the generation of a skew during conveying the booklet 2 is eliminated. In addition, the pressure contact force of the pressure contact member 8 to the booklet conveying member 6 is structurally increased by the amount of a pressure intensified by an intensification means, when a page 2a is turned up by rotating a rocking guide 13 to an advance position A and pressing the booklet 2 to a turning roller 10 by a booklet pressing face 12. Thus it is possible to certainly fix the booklet 2 and thereby ensure the smooth turning operation of the page 2 during page-turning.
