PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate maintenance of a filter in bag filter type dust collector, while dust is efficiently collected by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: In the dust collector 31, dust generated in working of a work by a machine tool together is sucked with air into the dust collector main body 37, and the dust is collected to discharge clean air. In this case, a conductor 57 is stretched around along the inner wall surface of the dust collector main body 37, and a magnetic field is generated in the conductor 57 by energizing the conductor 57. When minute fumes comprising a magnetic substance generated in working by thermal cutting pass through the dust collector main body 37, and they are attracted to the conductor 57 due to the magnetic field. Further, when an electric current of the conductor 57 is interrupted, the dust attracted to the conductor 57 drops easily. |
