PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose the trouble of the output drop of a water temperature sensor and the trouble of fixation of sensor output to a value beyond a judge value. SOLUTION: A sensor 41 outputs in response to the temperature of a coolant and a set means 42 sets the timing in which a prescribed time is elapsed after engine start or the timing in which a prescribed engine heat quantity is generated as a measurement time. The change amount of the output of the sensor 41 from an engine start upto this measurement time is calculated by a calculation means 43 and when the change amount is less than a prescribed value, a judge means 44 judges there is a trouble in the sensor 41. |
