PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a height from floor to top of a longitudinal axis gas turbine engine to a low degree by constituting a reduction gear by a gear reducer provided with a gear train engaged by having a longitudinal axis parallel to a main shaft and installing the reduction gear on the side of a discharge bent pipe. SOLUTION: A reduction gear 31 is constituted of a spur gear reducer provided with a spur gear train 33 engaged by having a longitudinal axis parallel to a main shaft 2 of the vertical direction and is installed on a floor part 24 on a side of a discharge bent pipe 6. The spur gear train 33 is provided with an input gear 33B fixed to an input shaft 33A having the longitudinal axis, an idle gear 33D which is fixed to an idle shaft 33C having the longitudinal axis and is engaged with the input gear 33B, a first output gear 33F which is fixed to a lower part of an output shaft 33E having the longitudinal axis and is engaged with the idle gear 33D and a second output gear 33G fixed to an upper part of the output shaft 33E. By this constitution, a height H2 from a floor part 24 up to a top of a longitudinal axis gas turbine engine 30 becomes lower than a height from the floor part 24 of a building of a one-floor type structure to an overhead crane.
