PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject sanitary composition scarcely sticking stains and useful for house designing equipment such as a sanitary pottery by alternately exposing a hydrophilic part and a hydrophobic part to the surface. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a hydrophilic inorganic compound coexisting with (B) a hydrophobic organic compound on the surface thereof and a hydrophilic part and a hydrophobic part are alternately exposed to at least the surface thereof. A metal oxide is used as the component A and a compound containing dimethylsiloxane as a skeleton is used as the component B. Specifically, (C) an alkoxymetal and (D) a reactive hydrophobic silicone are preferably used as principal components and the component D is preferably contained in an amount of 0.001-5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component C or (E) an alkoxyalkylmetal is preferably contained in an amount of 0.001-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component C.
