PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optically active crosslinked gel having stability to solvolysis and capable of being expected to have excellent optical properties by employing an optically active polymer as a mold. SOLUTION: The objective crosslinked gel is obtained by polymerizing a monomer such as a bifunctional monomer (e.g. divinylbenzene or the like) and a monofunctional monomer (e.g. methacrylic acid or the like) in a solvent such as tetrahydrofuran and chloroform in the presence of an initiator (e.g. 2,2'- azobisisobutyronitrile or the like) and an optically active polymer such as an optically active (meth)acrylate polymer (e.g. triphenylmethyl methacrylate or the like) having a repeating unit of formula I or II [wherein, R1-R3 are each a group expressed by formula III (wherein, X is an alkyl or the like; (n) is 0-7), a cyclic alkyl or the like] as a template, and then by removing the template polymer from a resultant product. As the crosslinked gel has chiral holes, it has asymmetric distinction capacity and is useful as an optical resolution agent for various racemic modifications.
