PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sterilize the inside and the outside of a container with atomized ozone which is more powerful than gaseous ozone. SOLUTION: A container 2 to be sterilized is carried into a sterilizing chamber 5 to form a sealed space, and an injection pipe 9 is inserted from an opening part 7 into the container 2. An atomized ozone 15 formed by mixing water 25 with a gaseous ozone 12 is sprayed from the injection pipe 9, the atomized ozone 15 is stored inside the container 2, and is allowed to overflow from the inside of the container 2 to the outside of the container 2 and cover both the outside surface together with the inside surface of the container 2.
