PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head in which ink outlet is prevented from clogging and a high quality print image can be recorded by sustaining high ejection stability even at the time of high speed printing. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording head comprises a plurality of ink outlets 2, a liquid 4 for sealing the plurality of ink outlets 2, means 15 for ejecting ink from the ink outlets 2 in response to an image signal, and means 5 for isolating the seal liquid 4 such that the liquid 4 sealing the ink outlets 2 closest to each other is separated.
