<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive tape which can be rewound from a winding without encountering the chipping of fibers and therefore has improved adhesive characteristics by coating with an adhesive at least either surface of a tape-like support made from staple fibers containing a fusible fiber and subjected to mechanical integration or wet twisting. SOLUTION: Staple fibers 2 having a fiber length of 10-100 mm and a linear density of 1.5-5 d tex are mixed with 2-50 wt.% fusible fibers 3 obtained by thermally plasticizing homopolymer and copolymer fibers, or an amorphous, undrawn, two-component fibers. The obtained mixture is subjected to mechanical integration or wet-process twisting to form bridges 4 to obtain a tape-like support having a web weight of 60-400 g/m2, a web thickness of 100-300μm, a strength at break of 75-500 N/(5 cm), and an elongation at break of 20-100%. At least one surface of the tape is coated with an adhesive composition containing an acrylate hot melt having a K value of 20 or above and a benzoin derivative.</p> |
